Update on delivery:

It now appears the Mason & Hamlin BB grand will not be arriving between April 1st - April 6th (i.e., this week as originally estimated) and have been given a new date of April 28th to early May. Looks like 45 to 60 days (up to 8 weeks) is likely on delivery since the piano goes into Modern Piano's storage facility until they are ready to schedule the move for my area. Will just need to remain patient until I receive word from the movers.

Extra note:

It now appears that the correct delivery estimate has been set for May 1st - May 6th since the original estimate had been an error. Will take about 60 days (i.e., up to 8 weeks) for arrival and not 30 days.

[Final descending arpeggio]

Regarding performance of the Ballade here is a specific score "note" as for how to correctly and/or properly play the final descending arpeggio in strict TRIPLET notes -- and, not as four (4) note groups:

[NEW RECORDING] - #2:

Here is my 2nd recording of the 4th Ballade performed at the AvantGrand N2 digital piano and have made some improvements to the playing along with making far fewer mistakes from nerves since the hands remained sufficiently warm to play with better control:

It is still a performance in process of improvement.

Anyway, I don’t get why you have posted this. Since it serves no purpose.

Do you realize how discouraging this post is to anyone that is considering posting a recording? There now needs to be a ‘purpose’ And the purpose needs to be good enough to be evident and acceptable to others???

Thank you for expressing what I was thinking. As others have noted, there are some interesting and quite insightful aspects to GrandBB's performance.

This performance certainly has something that grips people. It's had well over 2,000 views! Which is a lot.

Agreed!

And, while it is performed in a very slow tempo it does appear to be played with lots of feeling and this is certainly a piece that has plenty of emotion from start to finish and it's one of my all-time favorite pieces by Chopin.
