I love my Kawai NV10 but the lower register of the keyboard has developed a buzz-jangle sound on lifting off the key. Here is a video. I've been in touch with my retailer who is helpfully looking into it. In the meantime, do any other owners recognise this sound? Any ideas/suggestions welcome.
Many thanks!

Sounds like a loose Hamer rest rail. Discription and solution can be found here in the NV10 hands on thread.

God Bless,
David

+1 to David. Happening across a range of keys suggests a loose screw on the rail.

Now seems like a common NV10 issue. It’s basically an assembly issue where the workers are not tightening a nut enough.

I’ve heard about the buzz, the thud, and the clickety-clack, but I’ve never heard of the “buzz-jangle” sound.

I’ve added the buzz-jangle to the list!

It's a loose screw maybe laying on the action. When tech comes out be sure he tightens all of the screws. I had the same issue.

Very many thanks for these replies and advice. Much appreciated. I’m awaiting a call from Kawai.
