Nak,I'm not familiar with that particular movie, however personally I try to avoid emotional filled, angst ridden television shows, movies, books etc.

Think real life can be tough enough sometimes on our emotions without voluntarily adding to it. (Although I know for some, they may believe the cathartic benefits outweigh the negative)

Hope you were able to get some sleep!

You know, NAK - I remember those alone feelings when I was younger - worrying that all those I loved would die, and that I'd be left by myself in the world. They are especially bad when you get them at night. (things always look better in the a.m.) I'll tell you that I don't have them nearly as much any more. I think, in part, because I have kids, who will most likely be around longer than I will. (however, I occasionally have nightmares about that too) I don't tend to worry about being left alone as much as I did before I had a spouse and a family. (Not that this helps you any at the moment, it's just an observation)

I'm with m2m3s, though - the evening news is filled with enough heartbreak, I like most of my books and movies to have HAPPY endings.

Hope you're feeling better this morning.

You've got to go watch "Brian's Song" -- the original with James Caan and Billie Dee Williams (1971). After that, any movie wil cheer you up!

When me and my family went to Bangor, Maine (to visit family) i saw his house. It is scary too! It is on top of a huge hill, and the gates have steel bats on the top, and the whole house is just crazy. I personally like The Langaleers, and It.

Then, Nak, you could play the theme around and around in your head. Altho' it's very pretty it'll definitely put you to sleep.

Cold Mountain was pretty darn depressing.

the book actualy has a second part, when the kid ( forgot his name ) is in his teen years, thats where they got the title hearts, because he played hearts with his college pals, I didnt actualy read further into that section of the book because I found the first part more interesting, but from what my brother told me it became very weird.

Stephen King grew up in my town (Durham Maine) , now he lives in Bangor maine. Many of the settings of his books are based in areas around.

Oh yes I almost forgot " E-hug!"
