I'm looking to buy an apartment-sized, cheaper upright (not at the expense of quality, if possible!) and found a "Handel" on craigslist priced at 350. I cannot seem to find any info on this brand. Any info would be much appreciated! As far as I know, it's in good condition.

Your photo shows a spinet piano. Most of these were discontinued by the late 1970s.
The Pearce Atlas shows very little under Handel. Says label was used by Willis in Canada from 1910-1915. Perhaps the label was picked up by another builder. Most spinets did not appear on the scene until the mid 1930s.

Maddie,

Any upright piano takes up about the same amount of floor space in your apartment; they just get taller.

You might ask a local store if they rent pianos. This is a good way to get started. At least you know all the keys will work, and they'll tune it, too.
