Nice playing! The player is very talented. And she clearly feels more at home on the acoustic...

Thanks, maurus, realy Nastay is the BEST! But Bach sounded on the acoustic speaks to us "living language" of his time,I think that so

As long as we're being somewhat purist here, should a harpsichord or clavichord been used?

Good day,Dave Horne.
But we have upright piano "Rosler" 1967 Czechoslovakia only, sorry.
Sounds as Bach to "digit" or the upright piano is not the essence of this movie. One player, different musical instruments and classical music. Tastes differ. The idea of the film to convey for a simple layman and professional musicians that music great genius survived the centuries. Bach is very "alive", even if it is a digital piano "Yamaha"
I believe that Nastya it successfully managed . Nastya is very young girl pianist (Uralsk) is the holder of a silver medal awarded to her at Republican competition piano Kazakhstan. The contest was held in end March 2013 Pavlodar city

I love Bach. To me it's like listening to a beautiful math equation.

Thanks for sharing this. Very nice playing.

However Nastya's playing is severely hampered on the digital by the lack of a third sensor, plastic keys, short fulcrum, looping and stretched samples. I would mention the lack of sustain, but not for Bach. crazy

Good day,spanishbuddha
Thank you for your message. We are very glad that you got the aesthetic enjoyment of Nastya's playing . You do not even know as Nastya will be glad when I retell the meaning of these words. Because Nastya little knows English . I agree with you about the plastic keys and stretched samples . Nastya feels intuits the difficulty of playing " Yamaha". It is small flipping of a keys , fuzzy timbre line from F3 to G3 . General sparse sound palette of a " Yamaha " . Perhaps this " digit" very outdated ?
I do not understood what it means to " the lack of a third sensor "

Nice playing!

It brings back memories since I played this Prelude and Fugue for my Grade 8 exam in 2002. The Fugue is really special. Unfortunately the examiners didn't like my "interpretation".

Thank you,lolatu.
I will give your appreciation for Nastya. Her will be very pleased to hear it. Go back in the early children's years, when listening to music is a great feeling. When we are relive the exciting moments and their own thoughts and dreams of those bygone days is great!
A curators have their own point of view "interpretation" about, but we can not agree with them always. Bach's music impossible to mess up ANY "interpretation", I think so.
