does any of you have any information and specs about "W. STREICHER" upright pianos, and any general information about the brand itself?

thank you for your help

You sure it's "W" and not "J. B."? The old name was a Viennese piano I think. If it's a recent upright then it's a Chinese stencil brand. Pierce Piano Atlas says J. B. Streicher is made by Zhong Zhi Pianos.

Is it like this? http://www.pianoworkshop.co.uk/product-detail.asp?PianoID=306#.WAPSIoWcFMs

It will be a stencil name on a Chinese or Indonesian piano. What is it you need to know?

Excactly this one! Except a different type of wood on the casing and a different font for the brand name.
Do you have year and place of manufacturing?
Type of actions? Downweight and upweight of the actions?
Overall remarks about the quality of the piano? Is it bad quality, or fine to play on?
Thanks

I've never seen one; I just googled it. I have no idea of the technical specifications (a set of numbers would in any case be of very limited value in the practical world).

"W Streicher" will be a nonsense name, sometimes in the UK called "badged" and in the USA "stencil". A factory in China or Indonesia will make loads on similar pianos, and put different names on them for different markets and retailers. That practice has gone on in piano manufacturing since it began.
The only thing I can suggest is to play the piano extensively and see if you like the feel and sound of it.
