Got a new phone and installed the latest version of TuneLab - 2.4 - running on Android 8.0.0. Used it for the first time, today. With Auto Note Switching On, it sometimes jumps around, wildly - without my switching notes - switching to non-adjacent notes in non-adjacent octaves. Rebooting the phone didn't fix it. Turning off Auto Note Switching for a time did seem to fix it for a while, but then it started again. Anyone else seen this?

Yesterday the application was updated. Give it a try. Maybe the problem has already been fixed.

My guess is that you chose some initial reference notes for the basic curve that have false beats. These may have partials that are significantly stronger than the fundamental such that Tunelab jumps to the note of the partial. i suggest that you check all strings for false beats and do not use these for the initial notes.

Really don't think so. It was seriously jumping all over the place - different octaves, as I said. I updated it, without redoing the tuning file, and it worked.

Yes, we have been having some significant problems with auto note switching because of the introduction of Auto All mode. The updated version on the web today is much better than what was originally released. I must apologize for announcing the official release a bit too soon.
