I’m giving serious consideration to buying the Kawai MP11SE but it’s too tall to fit under my studio desk when I’m not playing it.

Is anyone aware of a stand, on wheels, that can support its weight plus be able to raise and lower so that it could slide under a desk (I.e. too low to play) but can rise to playing height when slide our from under the desk?

That's not something I'm familiar with, I'm afraid.

I wonder if a customer-built stand would be the best solution?

I love my MP11se but that's a pretty heavy instrument to move up, down or sideways. The only thing I can think of would be something like a cart on rollers that you can roll out then roll back under the desk. Of course you'd want a heavy duty cart with good casters!

Perhaps raise the desk up a bit higher instead of an adjustable stand? You can buy castors separately and it's not much effort to attach them to something with solid wood legs too.

Maybe it's just not the right spot?

Apparently it can. The website says it has a 176.2 lb capacity and the MP11SE weighs 75 lbs so it's well within the specified load.

And the price can raise your blood pressure!

Its gonna wobble left<->right.

I love my now discontinued Ultimate Support system.... but you need the cross(?) bracing or you get wobble. I hate wobble.

Compared to the one on Sweetwater, this one is a bargain at around $2,000.
It seems like it can go very low/high and comes in three different colors.

Finding a desk with a keyboard tray that can fit an MP11SE will be tough. I have yet to find one at any price.

However, if you just want a good sit-stand desk to set the MP11SE on, the following seems to be a reasonably priced option:

I’ve got an uplift as my regular desk but I’m not sure how the industrial would do for wobble.

The costco sit-stand desk can lift 200lbs.

I think you guys must've forgotten physics, With a gear ratio, even a very low power motor can lift a great deal of weight.

I think they've just forgotten the days of large CRTs and towers sitting up on desks

The heaviest prosumer CRTs like an FW900 24" widescreen was only 93lbs. It could lift that and a desktop no problem.

At 85 pounds, you'd need a motorized one. I own MP11, thought about something like this. Remember it also has to go low enough to play while sitting down if you're into that as well.

I remember the days all too well, but given this is my first keyboard, I'm not concerned about "will if lift" but rather "will it jiggle."

I bought one of these desks (frame only to save on UK postage), when they were a Kickstarter project back in 2015.
Mine is the the three piece leg version which they now call the premium model, and is a steel frame and as solid as a rock. No wobble at all.
I can't imagine the $319 Home Office two piece leg is going to be any less stable unless at full height (assuming they haven't changed build materials over the years). It comes with flat feet and would need heavy duty castors from somewhere if required.

That one looks good. But a bit overpriced.
I've seen complete desks of just that kind for less money.
