Trooplewis, everything on that wall plus that pineapple-looking lamp is simply great. I would have to smile every time I sit down to play.

And you're right, that new lamp is perfect for the spot. thumb

Wife has whole house decorated in Nantucket-beach style.
Except my office, The Tiki Room. Everything in is is either bamboo or bamboo-colored wicker.

Nope, no issues with it at all.
Took lessons from 1960 to 1969, stopped at age 16.
Started again in July 2020 at age 67. Lots more fun now!

I like the handy side tables. Love the photos -- please identify!

The tables I got off Amazon. I had a couple from Staple called a "Parsons table", but they were wood and not too sturdy. I saw a similar table on Amazon appeared to be same size and made out of metal so I got one like it and ordered a second one.

Is this it? I tried to do some Amazon sleuthing, but as you can imagine Amazon has a lot of tables. heh

What a great setup! Nice and clean, great colors, and looks like you get good light in the room too.

Also, how could anyone not remain motivated while looking at that legendary mustache?

My missus always watches Poirrot. I can't stand his oily Belgium accent.

Thank you!

At night I have a small overhead ceiling light in the center of the room which provides enough illumination to see the keyboard, and the music is all on the iPad using the forScore app.

@JJHLH awesome setup! Very nice. What speaker stands are those? Love how they're able to move the speakers forward some over the piano.

Thank you!

The speaker stands are Sound Anchors ADJ1. If you know what speakers you are going to use you can call them when ordering and they will customize the base plate to be the correct size. You can also have the stands mass loaded with sand before they ship out.

It's an essential for Rachmaninoff's "Two Piano Pieces for Six Hands" (at one piano).

It’s also essential if you get tired while playing and need a lie down. smile

Love the piano-related artwork. Been meaning to buy something along these lines for the walls near my piano. If you bought yours online, would you mind sharing what the website was?

Thanks!

I purchased the prints on art.com, and chose the wood mount. You can also choose framed if you prefer. Here is a link to the portrait of Scriabin, and the other 2 pieces were from the same site.
