I'm seriously considering buying a Petrof P125 F1 (from approx. 2005/2006). It seems in good shape, and sounds great. Asking price by the dealer is $6800. Does this seem fair/reasonable? Does anyone on here have any experience with Petrof pianos? Thanks! smile

All I know is quite a few people here own or have owned Petrof pianos.

I loved the one I had. I think the price is within reason for buying from a dealer, but I’m sure there is always room for negotiation smile

I am using a 70s Petrof 125 now, I am happy with that.
In the past, I have played on Schimmel, Hoffman and Kawai.
Here is a sample I did recently after an action regulation.

I quite like the tone of the new Petrof pianos 125-s. Some of them are too bright and not to my liking. I prefer the mellow, lyrical, singing tone with a brilliance only when played a bit louder.
