I'd like to find more interesting books to read that are closely related to piano (without being lesson books, per se). Things like history, interesting stories about composers and piano developers/manufacturers, piano-related or themed novels and/or short stories. Basically any books that are both entertaining and informative that will help me acquire greater general piano literacy.

A few that I have already read are:
Piano Lessons by Noah Adams
Playing Scared by Sara Solovitch
The Piano Shop on the Left Bank by Thad Carhart (probably my favorite of these three).

Any suggestions?

I suggest you read the Piano book by Jean Echenoz. I read it very well.

Play it again, by Alan Rusbridger. I skipped some English politics though.

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.
