Thanks Jesse, just listened to the whole thing. The playing and recording are remarkably clean, I'm wondering if this was midi performances? No shame in that, it's how I do it too. Just curious really.

Also, there is a very strong consistency from beginning to end. If this is the sound someone is looking for, they will get the idea from the first minute and will not be surprised by anything that comes after. So this has a lot of utility for the right audience.

My own personal taste leans toward more risk-tasking, and this album does not take any risks, so it's purely background material for me. A few intentional "wrong notes" wouldn't have hurt too much! I also found Gloomy Winter Nights to be MUCH too reminiscent of Satie, and stuck out for me for that reason.

Thanks for the accompaniment while chopping vegetables!

Hi Jesse! Thank you for your album. Oceanide was my favourite track.

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.

Not bad at all!
While sharing some of the points made by Jim, I think there’s some quite good material. Perfect for soundtracks and new age listeners.
Congrats on the accomplishment.
BTW if it’s really midi I’d like to know the program cos the sound quality is excellent. If it’s not midi, it’s some quite remarkable playing!

Hi,
it was partly recorded on a digital piano and the title track was a grand piano actually.

thanks for listening, as risk taking goes: this is my first piano album, so naturally it will be close to my piano taste smile I might take more risk in the next ones
