Something of a long shot but has anybody tried using the new M1 iMac on a piano music stand. I currently use a monitor mounted behind my MP11 but dreaming of a grand piano hooked up to a computer.

They do a vesa mount version (so no integrated stand) so it kind of looks like a super sized iPad, nice and thin and square, would be great for displaying two pages of sheet music and running vst’s etc.

External power brick so I guess you’d just have two leads running from it.

I have a somewhat related query, wondering if I’ll be able to place the iMac behind the Roland RD-88 (both on an elevated desk) and still move the screen above the piano without having to put the iMac higher up.

I believe keyscape officially supports the m1 …

As in it has native support for m1 now which is awesome.

Minimum requirements was a bit high asking for an i7 processor.
