Antique piano restorer David Winston is auctioning off his collection of some less common and some outright rare pianos. This article has some pictures.

If I won the Super Lotto (I know I need to start buying tickets 😁 ), what would be really cool is to configure a huge music studio. I’d have a progression of antique pianos to present day. I could play according to my mood and repertoire. Somewhat like Jay Leno’s garage.

Or like “Live from Darryl’s House”. Darryl Hall from Hall and Oates, has a gorgeous recording studio on his property. He features musical guests to do their hits, while Darryl and his own musicians jam along. No matter what you think about Hall & Oates, Darryl and his band are good and very versatile. From ZZ Top to Smoky Robinson.
