Being a Digital Piano (DP) is not an easy thing nowadays... What do you think is the worst destination for those poor electronic instruments?

I vote for being a demo unit at a music store. I was once in a well known one in New York City and almost cried looking all those poor DPs (and other keyboard instruments) so badly treated and abused.

Your take?

Being a pint holder at a party is never a DP's fav. role.

This is a major party foul, IMO! Unless of course the owner of the pint is actually playing the piano. That makes it OK, but only under that circumstance!

Worse than a demo unit at a music store:

. . . A demo unit at Costco.

It's the only place I've seen weighted Casio DP's with broken keys.

Worst destination? A James Pavel Shawcross 'review' video would be a pretty tragic fate. Having to listen to that pampered brat jabber. If I was a DP I'd choose landfill over that.

Your problem is that since the new pills, you are just too damn obtuse and indirect about how you feel these days EssBrace 😉 😁

This is how Mike Martin feels after one of his instruments finds its way onto a JPS review:

JPS might be more positive about a Casio PX, AP or GP but hasn't reviewed any of those. GP is unlikely to happen as the format seems to be that he buys the keyboards with his own YouTube money and the GPs are big and heavy.

We could spam the video comments with the suggestion to review e.g. the PX-5S as that's considered the most "professional" model and could even be useful in his recording studio.

We just need to use words like "popular", "legendary" and "flagship" i.e. "Could you please review Casio's professional flagship stage piano, the popular and legendary Privia PX-5S?"

It's tiresome to read trite clichéd terms like "flagship piano".
If you really want such a thing, buy one of these ... smile

Being a stage piano on a ship during a storm, or being a human trying to avoid the flying stage piano during the sinking 😁

Anyway, Casio's legendary professional flagship refuses to sink. 😉

Introduced in 2013(?) and still in production with no "II", "SE", "X" or other such updates.

I inquired at my local dealer's. She couldn't give me a delivery estimate, due to highly uncertain Covid-related SHIPment issues.

😢

Cheers and happy reckoning,

Though the GP-510 could also be a "flagship" of course.

That's it!

I'll extend my VPC2 requirements with an indent in the (flat) top to hold my beer.

Wait... maybe two indents? Three?

😎

Cheers and... Cheers!
