I have 2 questions,

1. Would you still buy an old MP6 for practicing slient for 500€ if in good condition?
2. I would like to stream spotify to the active speaker I will connect to the MP6 to play along. Are there speakers that can simultaniously play the pianosound and play my spotify (spotify connect?) or irealpro from mu phone

Well I play an MP5 which wasn't even in good condition when I bought it about 3 years ago. It's had a hard life on the road and the case was pretty scratched up and the end cheeks cracked.

It still plays perfectly and although I probably will upgrade it at some stage to an MP7SE (or maybe an 8 or a 9 if they've been released by then), but have absolutely no real reason to (and I still love it).

As far as the speaker is concerned, I can't really answer that. I play mine into a mixer and can also play mp3's or a drum machine etc. You could probably buy a mixer for less than a speaker.

By the way, if you planned to use a bluetooth speaker they're often criticised for latency (time delays). This might be manageable if you're just pressing play on your phone, but streaming your keyboard (if that's what you planned) might not work too well.

I have a Behringer Xenyx 802, and recommend it, or the enhanced Q802USB, which has an audio-to-USB interface included.

Basically, a mixer has a bunch of audio inputs (some line-level, some with microphone preamps), and lets you combine them (with individual volume controls, and some EQ) into a smaller group of outputs.

So (for example) I can sing into my microphone (one "input channel"), and play DP (a second "input channel", if I use a monophonic output from the DP), and combine the two into one mixer "output channel", which I can send into my computer and use as an audio input to Zoom.

Once you move away from "one instrument, that I play in real time", mixers become very useful.

Yamaha and Mackie make similar mixers, at similar prices.

This mixer sits in front of an amp and speakers? Or speakers are connected to this mixer?

For that mixer you'd need to connect it to an amp and speakers , but it does have a headphone socket for truly silent practice.

There are also powered mixers which contain an amp, but they tend to be much bigger and more expensive and are usually for Public Address systems.

You have a wide choice of what to use for an amp/speakers with many people using small computer speakers or you could use powered (active) monitor speakers or a dedicated instrument combo amp. I use some old domestic hifi speakers and amplifier.

If you search this forum you'll find it's a frequently discussed topic (and often gets quite passionate). Probably second only to "what headphones should I buy?".

As Andy said, the mixer most of us have is a "line-level" mixer:

My experience has been that there's enough gain available, in the mixer, so that it will work OK using the headphone outputs of smartphones, computers, etc.

I guess if I buy these speaker, I am all set to plugin my MP6 and my phone and my... with no extra devices needed? They will sound simultaniously.

You'd still need a mixer between the speakers and the sources as they only take one input at a time.

Those speakers, the mixer thats linked above and a handful of cables would do what you want.
