Hello all. I'm just getting started with tuning and purchased Tune Lab. The setting in the over-pull tuning asks to input the location of the treble struts. I'm not sure what they look like or how to find them. If anyone can help I'd much appreciate it. Thank you.

All the best with your tuning endeavours, RayR3004. TuneLab is a great product. I hope you have a semi-decent tuning lever - there are tiny and useless things being sold on Ebay at the moment as piano tuning levers. I've had two customers show me ones they've bought, in recent weeks.

By "tuning levers" do you mean tuning hammer? I purchased a tuning hammer from Howard Piano Industries. It's a plain wooden handle, but it seems like it will do the job.

I purchased Tune Lab and also found a piano tuner that will give me a few lessons. I and am starting this week. I find the instrument interesting and want to be able to care for it myself. My interest in tuning actually started after my friend tuned her guitar and that sparked my interest in learning how to tune.

Yes, "tuning lever" and "tuning hammer" are used interchangeably for the same thing. I think technically "tuning hammer" derives from old-fashioned T-levers, some of which had metal ends on the handle and could be used and lightweight hammers.

I am sure your tuning lever from Howard Piano Industries will be great. It's one or two sold on Ebay that people need to be wary of.

Thanks for the information. Much appreciated.
