Hi piano teachers!

On the Adult Beginners Forum, the "Beginner Pieces" Themed Recital is now open for submissions. The recital will close for submissions at 6AM Eastern US time on October 15th, and go "live" soon after.
I thought that this recital could be a great source of inspiration not only for us adult beginners, but also for you piano teachers. If you are a bit fed up with the pieces that you have heard your students play a hundred times or more, you can see if there are some other pieces that you can give them. But also (and this is of course the true reason why I write this post), maybe you have a beginners' piece that all of your students love to play and that is a bit more uncommon than a Minuet from Anna Magdalena's notebook? So you could make a recording of this piece and submit it to the recital smile

To submit your piece, go to recitals.pianoworld.com

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.

Inviting the teachers is a great idea Animisha!
In addition to what is mentioned above, perhaps teachers have students who would be interested in participating!

To be clear, would this be a video of *us* playing the piece? Or a student? Or a link to an existing YouTube video of the piece being played? I have some absolute favorites for beginners.

Yes, you playing the piece, that was my thought!
Unfortunately, you cannot submit any more to the recital, as it has been published. Here it is: http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthre...themed-recital-oct-2021.html#Post3164094

But I would still be very interested in your absolute favorites for beginners! smile
