I am located in New York state, US and I ordered a KAWAI NV5(S) from a local dealer on May 10, 2021. Unfortunately, I haven't yet received it due to the well known piano shortage caused by the COVID pandemic.

I am not complaining, as this is not a big deal compared to what people are going through and I know it is not the dealer's fault. I am just curious to know how common my experience is.

How many of you have ordered a digital piano over the past 10 months and how long did it take for the delivery? How many are still waiting?

Cheers!

NY here with a Roland LX-706 on order from a reputable local dealer placed in the beginning of August. I was told at the time that all new orders would probably be supplied mid December but the dealer was able to assign my piano to a dealer-order that was placed back in May, meaning it should be delivered any week now. They also told me that Roland tends to be bad about notices so I may not find out when it's coming until a few days prior to delivery.

I got mine a week after ordering it, with stand and pedal unit. Actually it was a day late. I panicked!

I ordered a Yamaha N1X in early April, and it was ready for delivery 11 weeks later. When I ordered, the dealer was unsure when the piano would actually arrive, as they said they’d get a notification from Yamaha only after the unit arrived in the US.

I ordred my MP11SE back in the middle of September, I found it in stock and received it last week. Fingers crossed that I can find another one nearby because this one arrived damaged crazy

I asked around for different digital pianos... Kawai CA79 or 99 in PE...CLP-785.... Nu1x... most retailers in the U.S. suspected 4-6 months waiting time.
