Hello Fellow Walker Fans which I have certainly become. After a few weeks of enjoying this instrument my only gripe is 1 or 2 slightly out of tune notes which G above A 440 is one. Thanks to the enjoyable tone of this vst makes it a lot easier to ignore. My favorite Mike combinations are Close with Hammer and Room with Hammer all the rest I would like to delete off my machine which would be Main, Binaural and Wide could anyone assist me with this task? Hi David,
these are the Walker D mic sets and their matching file name abbreviations:
U87 - Close
AKG - Main Mic
SLX - Hammer
BRC - Binaural
OKT - Wide
SHP - Room
You can open the Walker D Samples Folder, select the corresponding files and delete them. eg:
1955 Concert D - OKT Corda Dry 1.nkc
1955 Concert D - OKT Corda Dry 1.nkx
etc.

Iwould recommend to move the files to a different folder first, to make sure you do not break anything. And delete them only after some testing.

Thanks CraigRichards that sure helped. Is there any way to delete the Una Corda Samples? I don't use them. They are the files with 'Corda' in their name (eg. 1955 Concert D - OKT Corda Dry 1.nkc) There are Dry and Sus files for all Una Corda samples.

Yeah that makes sense Thanks CraigRichards maybe I'll think about that one for awhile. Good idea. The real Una Corda samples of the Walker D are a big feature I enjoy using. Many sampled pianos fake Una Corda with filtering & EQ, which is far from the real thing.

Dumb me. I didn’t realize you could mix the mic samples. How do I use both close and main at the same time? This feature is named MULTI in KONTACT - load more then one instrument to the same Kontakt instance. Just click on instrument files (or on names in Kontact Database) one by one.

Thank you, When I switched from close to main I always closed the other one.

And you have to set MIDI channel for both instruments to OMNI.

Where are the regular samples located all I see are the sustain and dry samples for corda at public documents/walker concert D?
