I just received a PM from someone I once wrote about regarding a 'free' grand piano scheme.

Here's the PM ... and his total number of posts here is zero.

"I'm writing as a friendly warning to you against defamation.. I've never done anything wrong to you.. I believe in law of karma. You will never know peace for posting wrong things about me... scottjames4901@gmail.com James Scott. Baby Grand Piano"

It looks like you have earned a lifetime of bad virtual karma! cry

If he sends it via midi 2.0, you'll get it ultra fast, and in great detail! shocked

Fortunately, I have a fair amount of karma credit built up.

I'm just a little short on curses and evil eyes. smile

I just received an email about a Diplomatic Agent with a box containing $6.5Million (the DA does not know its contents) and they sent it to the wrong address and asked me to send my correct address along with other personal information and a copy of my documents to prove I am myself.

I am writing the answer as we speak as I do not want them to send it to the wrong person again.

I am already thinking of what I will do with this money, I will buy a big house with a big room so I can put a Kawai or Steinway or Yamaha or Fazziolli or Bechstein... Man, I just do not know which grand to choose. I am open to suggestions, BTW.

Of course, you guys won't see me around for long, I will move to the AG forum pretty soon.

Look guys, enough about this scam nonsense. Join me, and a select group of wise and ambitious investors, in a fully genuine and above board way of making easy money. This is the LEGAL way. And it's FOOLPROOF. You are virtually guaranteed an AMAZING RETURN.

If you're interested in finding out more let me know but for the time being I shall say only this: Allow me to introduce you to Bitcoin...

I'm gonna show my age here.

In the early to late 60's in some cheap comic book or garden seed catalog or something, I forget what exactly, back in the cheap text classifieds sections, I caught a short ad that even at my age knew was hinky.

"This is your last chance to send $1 ($7-8 in 2021) to (then some PO box in NYC)."

That was the whole ad.

Curious, I sent in a dollar.

About a month later I got a reply from that PO box.

Just a handwritten note on a scrap of paper.

"Thanks."

grin

There is a very profitable bridge in NYC I am willing to sell as I am tired collecting cash from every car crossing Hudson.
Won't last long, I am open for negotiations!
LOL.

That reminds me of something that I've heard of and seen classified ads for, but never actually got caught up in.

"Earn money at home stuffing envelopes. Send $1 for full details to...."

What you get for your $1 is a letter saying, "Business Plan: Buy a classified ad that says "Earn money at home stuffing envelopes...."

There's a story, long circulated in the UK, that some guy used to collect parking fees outside Bristol Zoo (that's the zoo in Harry Potter films) 7 days a week, for 30 odd years.

It was only the first day he didn't show up when the zoo, and the local council realised that he wasn't authorised. The zoo apparently phoned the council to send a backfill and the council told them he was nothing to do with them. They'd both assumed that it was the others responsibility.

It may be an urban myth, but its still a good story.

I'd be a far better pianist if I spent the time I'm on this forum playing my piano instead.

I was concerned… for a moment I thought that myself, Wilhelm Theodore Friedrick Bach, did something wrong…
