People that own the es920, how prevalent is buzzing or distortion when playing the piano sounds through its speakers . This video, seems to demonstrate problems with the speakers in both the 520 and 920?

Here's my review of the ES920, played for some time side by side with an ES8. Also, I didn't do my review on a silly angled stand...the keyboards were the same heights on nearly identical portable stands. I do compare the speakers.

The increased clarity of sound prevalent on the ES920 is endemic in the Yamaha P515 and likely to be the norm for digitals now.
The increased clarity also reveals the increased falsehoods, and shortfalls to an unacceptable degree imo.
I tried Pianoteq on my main computer, whcih has Realtek in HD sound, and greater spacial appreciation than my current PTq laptop.
The results were similarly unacceptable to me, although for films etc, the advantage was impressive.
So if you can watch films on your ES920 screen, it'd be worthwhile. smile

Like, too much information! Not enough roughage in the diet . . .
It's Sunday, so you get parables . . .
Acoustic pianos shouldn't sound sanitised. There! I've said it!.

My es920 has no speaker issues, if you play at max volume it may distort slightly, but that is totally expected, the speakers on the es920 are excellent imo, fantastic value for money considering the speaker quality, which is very high.
