Hi everyone, I visited the one of used piano shop in Korea, there were around 150 used pianos incl. Yamaha , Kawai and some famous German brands. The owner showed me 2015 used Kawai RX3. It looked like just brand new. The sound was fantastic and was emotional . The owner offered me around $10,000 usd. I found it has only two prop stick but other older Kawai RX in showroom three. Have you ever seen RX that has only two prop stick?[Linked Image]

I've always heard that all grand pianos only have two functioning prop sticks, and if a third "prop stick" is present it's actually just a coat/hat hanger. I have no idea if this is universally true though, or true at all.

My piano only has one lid-prop. I'm insanely jealous!

Seriously, isn't it about time somebody invented a hydraulically operated, telescopic lid-prop which would allow pianists an almost unlimited choice of lid elevations to obsess about?

Ah yes this is the RX3 conservatory. It’s functionally identical to the standard model but they scaled back in non essential areas in the cosmetics
