OP Joonsung Full Member J Joined: Jan 2022 Posts: 53 Seoul, Korea	Hi everyone, I visited the one of used piano shop in Korea, there were around 150 used pianos incl. Yamaha , Kawai and some famous German brands. The owner showed me 2015 used Kawai RX3. It looked like just brand new. The sound was fantastic and was emotional . The owner offered me around $10,000 usd. I found it has only two prop stick but other older Kawai RX in showroom three. Have you ever seen RX that has only two prop stick? TFF Junior Member T Joined: Dec 2021 Posts: 14	I've always heard that all grand pianos only have two functioning prop sticks, and if a third "prop stick" is present it's actually just a coat/hat hanger. I have no idea if this is universally true though, or true at all.

Seriously, isn't it about time somebody invented a hydraulically operated, telescopic lid-prop which would allow pianists an almost unlimited choice of lid elevations to obsess about?
