Another wonderful composition 😊

Well thanks again kind sir! Glad you like these short pieces!
Rachmaninov once remarked that it’s much more difficult to write a short composition and be able to say what you want to say. I agree with a few people that some of my compositions could be longer, but for myself, they convey all I need to express.
Oh…I noticed anything I played on my digital has the same date of 12/01/03…I never set the date on this piano, so it must be dating all theses with the same default date.

Very atmospheric and full of emotion.
Would work in a movie - a scene transitioning to another.
Yes, would like it to be longer.

Your little pieces are very good, I particularly like the hillbilly one. If brevity comes naturally to you don't take too much notice of me or anyone else. I always improvise for about an hour when recording but that's just because I'm dense and it takes me that long to get an idea flow going. Length is just a musical option like any other after all and your pieces are quite charming as they are.

Yes, the short pieces are great compositions as written, but several of us were left with the feeling ‘Is that all?’ Wanting a longer piece —

Well, you have a point there.
When a violinist was upset and told Beethoven the music was too hard to play, Beethoven replied “Do I care about your damned fiddle when the spirits speak to me?”
So I’m no Beethoven (duhhhh!), but I wrote what I felt and when that feeling ends, why continue? And quite honestly if these little pieces leave listeners wanting more….that says they really like them! That;s a good thing!☺️ Thank you Ted!

Oh…I did not mean to insult anyone who would prefer some pieces longer, and if I did, my apology! I DO want to make some of them longer though…like Zen time, which I’m working on now. ☺️
