I wanted to have my phone out during my first time laying hands on the.keyboard. My heart was (still is) going a hundred beats a minute, and I was shaking the entire time and literally forgot how to play in the middle of it. But I felt I had to document the arrival. Please do not judge the piano by the player! 😁

Congratulations. Looks lovely. Once it has settled and had a tune up, post again. It is a special day when such an instrument arrives.

(PS: from experience with my pianos, I bet you decide to get rid of that mirrored wall before long. I found glass destroyed the warm tone of my piano and I ended up moving the instrument to a purpose built studio because the original music room had glass on three sides).

Currently playing 2017 C212 with carbon fibre soundboard, WNG action, customised, frequently tuned and regulated. Dedicated music studio. Teaching and working on advanced Beethoven, Rach, Chopin. Somewhat parked Bach and Grieg. Plus anything students want to study and pay me to help with!

Curtains can be a solution, then the mirrored wall can stay.

Just think of it like a tone control on your stereo - fit a nice really heavy full length curtain then just adjust how much of the wall is covered :-)

Beautiful!! Congratulations. How wonderful.

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.
