definitely have them go in to inspect and appraise.you want a fair assessment from someone who works for you. Any honest dealer will welcome this, too (and won't give you guff about how "they've already done it in store.").
Congratulations Andrea! How did you like Stilwell Pianos? Sounds like you had a good experience there. Make sure you post lots of pictures when your piano arrives!

Thank you! I am very impressed with Stilwell! Great facility and Michael, the owner, is so friendly and very informative. Easy to work with as well.
After rewatching this video, I remember it is a satin finish black piano. I love the satin finish, it's just so classic. That it sounds as good as it looks, I'd say you struck gold.
BTW, you mentioned getting used to the action. Remember an action can be adjusted to feel lighter or heavier. Sometimes just a regulation will do it, sometimes you can make changes to the weight of the hammer. So long as you like the sound of this piano, the action can always be adjusted later probably to exactly what you want.

Yes! I love the satin ebony. I didn't really have a preference until I saw it😁.
I love the tone!!! I will wait and see how I adapt to the touch before I go and change anything. I believe he said it was at 56 or 57 weight.
Congratulations Andrea, How wonderful!!! Wishing you many years of enjoyment with your new Charles Walter. It certainly sounds lovely on that recording.Unfortuantly I have never come across one in real life, although all the recordings I have listened to have been excellent.

Thank you so much! The tone just melts me!!! I can't wait until I can do that beauty some justice!
