Congratulations Andrea! How did you like Stilwell Pianos? Sounds like you had a good experience there. Make sure you post lots of pictures when your piano arrives!

I am very impressed with Stilwell! Great facility and Michael, the owner, is so friendly and very informative. Easy to work with as well.

Congrats Andrea! I've always had a soft spot for american grands. Does yours look and sound like the one in this video?

WOW! Now I know Nicole would make even a spinet sound good, but this instrument is absolutely glorious.

After rewatching this video, I remember it is a satin finish black piano. I love the satin finish, it's just so classic. That it sounds as good as it looks, I'd say you struck gold.

BTW, you mentioned getting used to the action. Remember an action can be adjusted to feel lighter or heavier. Sometimes just a regulation will do it, sometimes you can make changes to the weight of the hammer. So long as you like the sound of this piano, the action can always be adjusted later probably to exactly what you want.

Yes! I love the satin ebony. I didn't really have a preference until I saw it😁.

I love the tone!!! I will wait and see how I adapt to the touch before I go and change anything. I believe he said it was at 56 or 57 weight.

Congrats! Since we don’t see a lot of these, used, I’m curious to know what it cost for a 20 year old example. You can PM if you prefer.

Congratulations Andrea, How wonderful!!!
Wishing you many years of enjoyment with your new Charles Walter. It certainly sounds lovely on that recording.Unfortuantly I have never come across one in real life, although all the recordings I have listened to have been excellent.
