Some people think today is Star Wars Day. I say, Happy Birthday Bartolomeo Cristofori (May 4, 1655)!

We might otherwise be on a "Harpsichord World" or "Clavichord World" forum. Who knows.

I'm not a Star Wars aficionado (nor a Trekkie), but wasn't one of the intriguing premises of Star Wars that it wasn't futuristic, but took place long ago? In other words, the force/fourth may have been with Cristofori after all!

Is that why the special effects all look so primitive?

"A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, these are the voyages of the starship Enterprise..." ROFL! That sort of faux pas could get you beaten up by many of my former colleagues! FWIW, I did enjoy Galaxy Quest!
