I make a recording of this menuet, and it is going fine, yes fine, now the final measures, yes, and now it is almost done, G major chord in the right hand that is held down until the end, and in the left hand the final three notes... G.... B.... and instead of holding my right hand down, I lift it and play the last G!!! What is wrong with me???

LOL Common malady: the finish line is in sight so it’s time to make a mistake … or two 🤪

But did it sound wrong? You just improvised your own ending instead of playing what's written.

Your team concedes a goal in the dying minute of the match. It happens so often; same reason!

It's okay - lack of coordination, typical for beginners; It happens to me too, because of my age.

You should practice the ending on its own more. My piano teacher says that if you've got to perfect anything in a song, it is the beginning and the ending. People are more forgiving of mistakes inbetween.

It happens a lot. If you are lucky, you can find a way to resolve it in a split second. I was successful only for a couple of times😉. It is only your teacher (and a few nerds) who would notice it.
