They come in 88 or 61, not 73 (unfortunately...).

I'm going to Europe (first time!) and hope to stick one of these toys in my luggage (carry-on is for saxophone and possibly guitar).

As usual, the Amazon offerings all have similar, made-up names.

This one has a good Moo Tube review:

https://www.amazon.com/MAGICON-Foldable-Electronic-portable-Delicate/dp/B08MQ7LTQC/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1W8WH9PMJMGAO&keywords=magicon%2Bfolding%2Bpiano&qid=1660586286&sprefix=magicon%2Bfolding%2Bpiano%2Caps%2C125&sr=8-5&th=1

Here's the video review:

This one is 61 keys, and more portable. Has anybody tried it?:

Thanks....

Narrower keys, you say? I wonder what the octave width is? Could be interesting.

He's doing grand piano abuse by sliding those things across the lid surface. But I guess it's ok ------ it'll buff out.

Doesn't look exactly like a new Steinway....

Apparently some are and some are not narrower.

If it doesn't say touch-sensitive it probably isn't.
Got Bora BX-20, and it sucks. Better check CTS1, NP12, Go:keys or such.

Those won't fit in my luggage. I'm flying to Paris and the baggage requirements are very strict. My one "carry-on" is my alto saxophone (Main instrument [actually, that's tenor, but that's too big!]).

Yours looks about the same thing, unfortunately.

Thanks for posting this.

The Magicon seems impressive. I'm thinking of getting one, even though I already have a "regular" digital (Casio PX-S3000). This one would be a lot more portable.

I'd be very interested to hear impressions from anyone who has a Magicon, or has experience with it.

I tried the Magicon roll-up piano which would definitely fit your luggage. It was funny to use though with flimsy keys, it wouldn’t stay flat, and I returned it. These options seem more usable.

I tried (and bought) the one they call Vangoa. It is touch sensitive, but it's REALLY sensitive and the notes "shoot" from under your fingers. The 10 piano sounds that it provides all sound too similar to me, but the other sounds are quite playable. You can also plug in your own sounds through, say JBL portable speaker as the piano's speakers are really tinny. It works as an "emergency" piano(I'm keeping mine), but you might pick something better at where you are traveling to-secondhand or maybe even new. It's not exactly a Mark VI. If you are taking all of your instruments, you might be traveling for a while, I'd pick a better piano locally. Having said that, I am loving mine, I bought 2, sold one at a profit and mine ended up costing even cheaper. Amazing value for what it packs.

Please consider changing your footer to listing your keys first since it's a piano forum. I own 6 saxes and play them professionally, but I didn't bother listing them. With your footer-it take a while to get to the actual keys. I'd say you will hate foldables after owning an MP11

That's true. Having one to take around it most likely a heap better than having none.

Were the keys full size and was the thing at least somewhat "playable"?

I'll be busking with it and playing it through my MacBookPro and Pianoteq / Ivory / Fender Rhodes, etc., with my Roland Micro BA busking amp. It will be a keytar, too, so a foldable one will not work.

I'm staying 6-8 weeks and visiting a bunch of areas, so I'd be traveling with whatever I get anyway.

I'll probably bring my 100 year old Conn alto and not my Mark VI, though!

Not a bad idea, but then again, piano / keys are my "double" and I like to "present" here as a saxophonist who doubles on piano, not as primarily a pianist.

The BX20 feels crappy compared to a plastic 61-key Yamaha synth. Even with a VST it doesn't improve as much as one would hope, because of the key action and the mere 8 levels of intensity.
