Museum Geelvinck - Early Pianos Festival - 01/21/21 09:06 PM
From Noriko Koide’s 2008 Hyssop, to Beethoven’s 1803 Eroica, the 'Geelvinck Early Piano Festival' continues to breathe new life into the early piano.
Now, with brand new recordings for 2021, the online festival presents artists including Richard Egarr, Alexandra Nepomnyashchaya, Olga Pashchenko and Keiko Shichijo, celebrating music from Japan to Canada to Austria.
This international combination of music both old and new, will be played out on the backdrop of beautiful Dutch castles, alongside historic tales, as part of our new festival series the 'Bashkir’s Ship Bridge' and 'Beethoven and the Romantic Period in Gelderland'.
New episodes streaming throughout January: see our website for more details!
